Join our Handmade Pottery: Mug Class, where you’ll craft your very own ceramic mug using the slab technique! Guided by a professional artist, this two-day class will take you through the entire process of hand-building, shaping, and glazing your masterpiece. No prior experience needed!

Day 1: Molding, Cutting & Shaping
In the first session, you’ll learn how to roll, cut, and shape clay slabs into a functional mug. Our instructor will guide you through the techniques of joining pieces together, refining edges, and adding personal details. Once your mug is formed, we’ll carefully store and prepare it for the kiln. Your creation will be at a later date, making it strong and ready for painting the next day!
Day 2: Painting & Glazing
On the second day, you’ll return to find your mug fired and ready for decorating! You’ll use colorful glazes to bring your design to life, whether you prefer a minimalist aesthetic or a bold artistic statement. After painting, your mug will be fired once more to set the glaze, ensuring it’s food-safe and durable.
Take Home Your Creation!
After the final firing, your mug will be ready for pickup, as a functional and handmade piece to cherish for years to come. Perfect for your morning coffee, tea, or as a unique gift!
